The Globe and Mail Just Punked the Leap Manifesto

You’ll notice in this graphic that as the Leap Manifesto linked to an anti-pipeline op-ed in the Globe and Mail in Facebook, the subhead brutally misrepresented the article.

Either it was an error, sadly, or it was an intentional opposite world punking.

The subhead says “The two can go hand in hand,” but the article says, “It is true that a prosperous economy and a healthy environment can go hand in hand. However, it does not follow that every prosperous economy is also environmentally sustainable.”

The subhead, when read after the headline, makes it sound like pipelines can go hand in hand with the environment and the economy, which is of course nonsense in this climate change era.
